You must be born again. That means that you must ask Jesus to forgive all the bad things you have done and said (sins) and to come into your heart and to be your Lord and Savior. No one can do it for you--not even your mother or father. Just because you go to church does not mean that you have been born again-- that you are a Christian. (that is like thinking because you go to the fruit store--that makes you a banana.) If you are not sure that you are born again--that Jesus lives in your heart--and you want to be sure--just simply pray the following prayer aloud and mean it with all of your heart: Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died on the cross for all the bad things I've done and said (sin) and that you rose from the dead to give me life. Please forgive me for all the the bad things I've said and done. I don't want to do them anymore. Come into my heart, cleanse me from all my sin, and be my Lord and Savior. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. I receive your deliverance, healing, and freedom. I give you my life---I choose to follow you alone. Amen Now that you have asked Jesus into your heart--you need to read the Bible daily and pray (talk to Jesus) so that you can learn more about God and all the wonderful things He has for you. If you need a Bible just email us and let us know that you asked Jesus into your heart and that you need a Bible and we will mail one to you. No. The Bible states"...choose you this day whom ye will serve..."(Joshua 24.15) Either Jesus is your Lord and Savior or He is not. There can be no mixture. The Bible states that there is no other way to God except through Jesus Christ. "Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4.12) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14.6) You cannot have a foot in the enemy's camp and a foot in God's camp. The devil who is over all the false religions of the world (and empowering those false religions with his limited power for a short time determined by God) is the enemy of Jesus Christ. The devil will be cast into the lake of fire and all people that have chosen the false religions. (Revelation 20.10-15)
Yes. They know about Jesus but don't know Him as their personal Savior and Lord. They simply make Him part of their "religious" practices. Also, a person could go to church every day of their lives and hear about Jesus, but never invite Him into their heart to be their Savior. That person simply has "head" knowledge of Jesus, but has never known Him personally. The Bible states that the demons believe and tremble--but they are not going to heaven--instead they will receive God's judgment. (James 2.19) Don't try to fit Jesus in as part of your religious practices. Jesus is not a religion--He is a person--the Son of the living God. The Bible states that the gods of the nations are idols and will be destroyed-- Jesus Christ alone is God. Worship thou Him.
An antichrist spirit means anyone or anything that is against Jesus Christ. (Christ means the anointed One and His anointing) The "antichrist" or "beast" is the name given in the Bible for the future world ruler who will set himself up as God. He will demand to be worshipped. The antichrist will have a false prophet who will be able to call down fire from heaven and do lying signs and wonders in order to deceive (trick) people into worship of the antichrist. Jesus Christ will return with the armies of heaven and cast the antichrist and the false prophet into the lake of fire. The Bible also says that there will be a new heaven and new earth where everything is good and even the lion will eat grass like a cow.
Yes, if it looks "inward". No, if it looks "Word-ward". Let me explain. True meditation according to the Bible always focuses a person's attention totally on the word of God. (The Bible and what God through his Word has done.) The purpose is so that as we think upon God's Word we are changed. "This book of the law (God's Word) shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." (Joshua 1.8) False or imitation meditation focuses on the inner man- the soul area (the mind, the will, the emotions) or the flesh--looking inside yourself to find God, to find peace, truth , tranquility, etc.--to find control. False meditation says "Go sit in the floor--empty your mind, etc.--use incense or aromas, use music etc." What is really happening in false meditation is that the focus of false meditation is through the realm of the senses-- sensual having a form of godliness--but denying the power thereof. False meditation focuses on man--it is humanistic--and sets man up as a god--the ruler of his own destiny--through inner light etc. In reality all it does is open man up for demonic possession. The Bible states, "let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in the thy sight, O Lord my strength, and my redeemer. (Psalms 19.14) If you have been doing meditation in various ways or with various religions--I invite you to try it God's way. For one month-- do nothing but read the Bible and think only on what it says--spend your hours of meditation only with the Bible--not with other experiences, people, or teachings or teachers (masters) that you are used to--read and think only on the Bible. If you come openly and sincerely you will be amazed at what will happen in your life as you come face to face with the living God through meditating on His Word.
